Grand River Bank is currently seeking a customer-focused individual to join our team, full-time or part-time/job share. This position is an integral part of our Retail banking experience and is responsible for providing a superior level of customer service and outstanding teamwork at our Crahen branch location.

Grand River Bank is currently seeking an experienced full or part-time Commercial Credit Analyst to join our progressive team. This position is an integral part of our team and is responsible for analyzing, summarizing, and monitoring the creditworthiness of customers for new and renewal loan requests.

  • Responsibilities of this career opportunity include:
  • Spread, analyze and review financial statements.
  • Prepare formal loan presentations for the approval process, on a portfolio of diversified loan types.
  • Attend and participate in loan committee meetings.
  • Maintain tracking systems to monitor the commercial loan portfolio
  • Comprehension, and application of the Bank’s policies, procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Mentor Jr. Analysts and Interns.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Successful candidates must possess:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or Accounting, (relevant industry experience may be acceptable).
  • Strong Analytical skills, attention to detail, good customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Microsoft Office skills, focused on strong ability to work within Excel
  • Minimum 2 years commercial credit experience with a bank, as well as prior bank regulatory
    compliance training and knowledge.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Grand River Bank is currently seeking an experienced Electronic Banking Specialist to join our Operations team. The Electronic Banking Specialist supports the electronic banking functions including Online Banking, ACH, and Remote Deposit Capture. The EB Specialist provides customer support and training on related products and works with the Treasury Management and Retail team.

Responsibilities of this career opportunity include:

  • Provide a high level of customer service for both external and internal Bank customers while taking ownership for solutions
  • Business Online Banking Enrollments, setups and maintenance
  • ACH daily file processing
  • Process ACH exception and return items
  •  Remote Deposit Capture enrollments and support
  • Remote Deposit Capture installations and customer training
  • Business Online Banking customer support
  • Understand and support the Bank’s policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Actively participate in continual improvement process.
  •  Perform other duties as assigned.

Successful candidates must possess:

  • Secondary education preferred but not required.
  • Minimum two years Operations experience within a bank.
  • Professional demeanor and proven exceptional customer service skills.
  • Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • The ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Organizational skills, and the desire to be detailed oriented.
  • The desire to be part of a team.
